Adding blocks

The Flex Theme is based off of WordPress’s Gutenberg editor. By hovering over the page you will trigger a “+” icon. This affordance is used to add the preexisting blocks to your page. you can also add blocks by clicking on then large blue “+” icon in the upper left corner(example B)

Design patters are predesigned components that CampusPress’s Flex Theme leverages to rapidly build out pages that are both branded and adhere to design best practices. These components mimic the ones found in kernl theme.

Previewing your work

The WYSIWYG block editor displays the components with a slightly different look and feel than the live view, so before you publish a page, we recommend you preview how the page will look when it goes live.
